Ever since I was a young infant I was introduced to Mexican cuisines. There are many different options to choose from and so many ingredients. Some of my favorites are tamales, tortas, menudo, mole, tacos, burritos, and enchiladas. And each and every one of those can be made different, with different ingredients, depending on the person and their preferences.
First topic tamales, they are my all time favorite. Tamales can be made in many different ways.My three favorite methods use either a: Steamer: Simply re-steam your tamales for 15 minutes or so (or a bit longer if they were frozen). Oven: Wrap your tamales in foil and bake at 350 for about 15-20 minutes until warmed through. Microwave: Admittedly my favorite, and the easiest. Most tamales have elaborate slow-cooked seasoned meat fillings (usually chicken or pork), sometimes with vegetables (potatoes, corn, peppers, or carrots), cheeses, dried fruits, and olives. But usually I just like them with simple chicken.
